Homework

Times Tables Rock Stars: This is a fun way to learn the times tables and essential in supporting your child with quick mental recall of multiplication facts.  Your child's log in details have been stuck in the back of their reading diary and in their homework book. See the Year 2 maths section for the website address.

Weekly homework will be given out each Friday in a homework book and should be handed in the following Wednesday. It will be a mixture of English, maths and other subjects linked to what we are learning in class.  Please ensure your child's homework is presented neatly, using a pencil.

Spellings: The children will be grouped and the spellings they are to work on will be highlighted for you. Each Friday the children will have a spelling test. Please make sure you work on these, with your child, during the week.

Reading: Please read at least 4 times a week, and sign your child's diary each time.
