AcSEED Award

We are delighted to announce that Gainsborough has been awarded the very prestigious AcSEED accreditation for the excellent work that we do to support pupil and staff emotional wellbeing and mental health. 

AcSEED promotes adoption of best practices in supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of young people in UK schools and colleges, and provides recognition for organisations that satisfy the AcSEED criteria for wellbeing support. 

During their review of Gainsborough’s approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health, the AcSEED Team were particularly impressed by the strong wellbeing ethos of our school, our extensive health and wellbeing provision and our comprehensive emotional health and wellbeing curriculum. 

We are very proud of the AcSEED award as it recognises our commitment to pupils’ emotional wellbeing and mental health support.
