Stay Safe

Our school motto 'SAFE, SMART AND SMILEY' reminds us how important staying safe is. Click on any of the documents below to loook at the different ways we can stay safe.

We talk about who children can talk to for help or advice in school, and also who they can contact if they are not at school. Below are a list of numbers and websites that children may find useful.

Childline - call 0800 1111 or go to the website

Local police - call 101 if it is not an emergency

Police - 999 if it is an emergency

The Year 6 children have been working with the Cheshire East civil enforcement team and learning all about safer parking in and around school.

The team, together with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and Cheshire Constabulary, have joined forces to tackle illegal, irresponsible and inconsiderate parking near schools and to promote road safety and prevent children being injured or killed by vehicles at school drop-off and collection times.

As part of the safety campaign, ‘Safer Parking at the School Gates’, a series of nine cut-out images of children with lollipop signs of key safety messages were positioned outside of the school gates where unsafe parking and driving has been highlighted as a particular high risk.
