VE day celebrations

Hello Year 1,

Tomorrow will be a big day of VE Day celebrations when many people will be having stay at home parties to celebrate the end of the Second World War. People will decorate themselves and their homes in red, white and blue. At 9am on the 8th May, the Queen will speak to the nation and there will be a live stream on BBC.
